How does re-reading or jumping to earlier lines work in AI Voice Flow?
E Teleprompter uses a 2-Step Sequential Consecutive Jump Verification Filter. If you want to re-take an earlier sentence, simply start speaking that line. The system stages the first candidate word in the background, and as soon as your second consecutive word matches, the prompter smoothly glides back up to that line with reverse word-by-word highlight stepping. This prevents accidental single-word homophone jumps.
Does E Teleprompter support Devanagari Hindi and other non-English languages?
Yes! The voice tracking engine includes dual-channel direct Unicode matching and Latin phonetic transliteration. When you paste a script with ≥60% Devanagari characters (Hindi, Sanskrit, Marathi), the teleprompter automatically sets the speech recognition language to
hi-IN (Hindi) with full combining marks support.
What are the 4 Vocal Energy Modes?
Located in the sidebar under Vocal Energy Physics:
- Continuous Flow: Standard smooth gliding with auto-pause on silence.
- Dynamic Speed: Velocity scales dynamically with your vocal volume (0.65x to 2.2x).
- Vocal Push: Smoothly advances in discrete line bursts per spoken sentence.
- Strict Gate: A high-discipline studio noise gate with an aggressive 180ms cutoff for instant stops in ambient noise.
Why isn't my microphone or voice tracking working?
Ensure you have granted microphone permissions in your browser. Click the lock/settings icon in your browser URL address bar and verify that Microphone is set to "Allow". Also ensure you are using Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or a Chromium-based browser for full Web Speech API support.
How do I flip the text for a physical beam-splitter glass rig?
Open the sidebar controls and select "Mirror Horizontal" (or press hotkey M). This flips the display horizontally so reflected text on the 70/30 glass reads correctly in front of your camera. If your tablet or monitor is mounted upside down, choose "Mirror Both (H + V)".
Can I use E Teleprompter without an internet connection?
Yes! E Teleprompter is an offline-capable Progressive Web App (PWA). Once loaded in your browser cache, you can disconnect from Wi-Fi or use airplane mode, and all prompter features, script library management, and local playback will continue to function.
Is E Teleprompter really 100% free with no limits?
Yes. E Teleprompter is completely free to use for personal, commercial, and broadcast productions with zero subscription paywalls, watermarks, or character length restrictions.
