1. The Zero-Server Architecture

Unlike cloud-hosted teleprompter services and subscription software, E Teleprompter never transmits your scripts, recordings, or user data to any remote server or database. All text processing, formatting, and rendering execute entirely inside your device's browser memory.

2. Script Storage via LocalStorage

When you write, edit, or import scripts in E Teleprompter, they are saved locally on your device using the HTML5 localStorage API.

  • Your scripts stay strictly on your physical machine or phone.
  • We cannot read, access, or restore your scripts because we operate zero server databases.
  • You can export or backup your scripts at any time as standard text or Markdown files.

3. Microphone & Audio Processing (AI Voice Flow)

When you enable AI Voice Flow or the "OK Camera" Acoustic AI Trigger, microphone access is requested:

  • Audio is processed in real time through the standard in-browser Web Speech API and Web Audio FFT spectrogram analysis.
  • No audio is ever recorded to disk, uploaded to cloud servers, or used to train external AI models.
  • Microphone access stops instantly the moment you pause scrolling or close the teleprompter tab.

4. Camera & Computer Vision (AI Hand Gestures)

When AI Hand Gesture Vision is activated:

  • Webcam frames are analyzed locally using Google MediaPipe client-side WebAssembly models.
  • No video frames or photos are saved, stored, or transmitted over the network.
  • The camera indicator light on your device clearly shows when hardware video capture is active.

5. Offline Execution & Network Independence

E Teleprompter is fully offline-capable as a Progressive Web Application (PWA). Once loaded, you can disconnect your Wi-Fi or turn on Airplane Mode, and the entire studio — including auto-scroll, hotkeys, and script management — continues to function seamlessly.

6. Zero Cookies & No Data Brokers

We do not use tracking cookies, targeted advertising pixels, or data brokering SDKs. We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal information.

7. GDPR & CCPA Compliance

Because E Teleprompter collects zero personal data, IP logs, or user identifiers on servers, our architecture inherently complies with the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
